Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 9 minutes into the game, Axel Tasis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mehmet Hamdi İğdemir was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lemi Aktaç hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peyami Kayrabay in the 20th minute of play. Enez's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yusuf Saltukalp in the 21st minute. Enez's Yusuf Saltukalp was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benito Sanz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Yusuf Saltukalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Efrain Moruga hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Enez's Peyami Kayrabay dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Mehmet Hamdi İğdemir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Axel Tasis came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Tasis couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Costa Rica! Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Hulki Temizel came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Peyami Kayrabay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Enez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Mehmet Hamdi İğdemir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enez's Ümit Tunçkılıç pulled a muscle in his back after 59 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Abel Carballo charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Carballo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 60th minute. Peyami Kayrabay struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Enez. 65 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Peyami Kayrabay came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 68 minutes, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Noboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute, Emrullah Uzgoren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Noboa charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliseo Noboa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. In the 84th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Kemalettin İlhanoğlu sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Sadri Resai charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sadri Resai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sadri Resai kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Axel Tasis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Hamdi İğdemir was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. There was no doubt that Enez were the better team. Enez's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
