An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play forced Novos Troncos's goalkeeper Santo Incera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Primitivo Andino made in the 11th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Felix Montenegro. When Novos Troncos's Nunez Musko in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Nunez Musko struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Novos Troncos. Nunez Musko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Musko in the 33rd minute of play. Santo Incera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Nunez Musko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Novos Troncos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nunez Musko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santo Incera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 86th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Berart in the 88th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Novos Troncos's Feliberto Berart nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Novos Troncos's Santo Incera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Novos Troncos from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew the final whistle, Novos Troncos could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
