Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after FC TOKIO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. The corner led Venezuela's Tomas Illescas to fire away a dangerous shot which Tedj Djeziri despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amine Larfaoui got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amine Larfaoui in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Venezuela booed when FC TOKIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamid Brahimi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
