Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mete Gambetta started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 6 minutes, Mete Gambetta made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th minute, Mete Gambetta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Anibal Platon charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anibal Platon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anibal Platon kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The supporters of Honduras booed when Club Deportivo Norte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Mederi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute of the match Edmundo Espiga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernando Prassov skillfully saved the ball. In the 20th minute of the match Sebastian Villa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernando Prassov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 24thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportivo Norte's Fernando Prassov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mete Gambetta got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Mete Gambetta sent off a good shot on target. Mete Gambettas short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Lautaro Navarro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Esteban Carvallo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Prassov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 37 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramon Gómez. Emanuel Ocampo's late challenge caught a Club Deportivo Norte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Ocampo helped the player get up and apologised. Emanuel Ocampo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Mete Gambetta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro skillfully saved the ball. Fernando Prassov came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga. But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mete Gambetta in the 57th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Norte's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Fernando Prassov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Deportivo Norte's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mete Gambetta in the 64th minute of play. With a little luck, Club Deportivo Norte's Fernando Prassov got control of the ball when Edmundo Espiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute, Ramon Gómez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute, Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Club Deportivo Norte booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Prassov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaspar Haitz made in the 82nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ramon Gómez. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 96th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Norte's goalkeeper Fernando Prassov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
