Vladimiro Rozarius didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Vito came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Tomas Berganza made a precise shot to the right of Filiph Klemensson. VC Merchtem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 37th minute, Silvio Estebe reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcos Cotilla. The goal made the score 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvio Estebe got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvio Estebe made a kick off. Isidoro Sarmiento's late challenge caught a VC Merchtem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidoro Sarmiento helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great ball. With a little luck, VC Merchtem's Filiph Klemensson got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th minute Panama were awarded a corner. Abraham Alguacil went to the cornerflag to take it. Panama's Miguel Miralles was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Filiph Klemensson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Felipe Ros kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 3-2 became the score in the 59th minute when Isaac Vito elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rajmond Van den Brul in the 64th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, VC Merchtem's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Filiph Klemensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiph Klemensson having to interfere.
