Herbert Tamulewicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 10th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Tamulewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Tamulewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herbert Tamulewicz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Rottneros FK's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Herbert Tamulewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herbert Tamulewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herbert Tamulewicz came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Max Majman kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Joel Gaona got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Luca Rouco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viktor Björklund hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The supporters of Mexico booed when Rottneros FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Arne Lundqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Rottneros FK's Arvin Ljungberg got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 72nd minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Herbert Tamulewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Luque got a throw-in 79 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lautaro Mancebo. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Felix Luque made in the 86th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Lautaro Mancebo however managed to control. Arvin Ljungberg kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rottneros FK throughout the match.
