Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Yılmaz Veli sped through Uruguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yılmaz Veli in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 21st minute of play forced Balıkesirspor's goalkeeper Baki Laçin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, one of Uruguay:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Uruguay. Çeliker Orun shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Yılmaz Veli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Yılmaz Veli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 34 in the game by Yılmaz Veli from a close distance when the talented Joaquin Gayoso managed to make a qualified save. Uruguay's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano got a free kick in the 35th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Balıkesirspor's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Baki Laçin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. Aytek Bucak hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yılmaz Veli in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Yılmaz Veli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Seco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Baki Laçin firmly grabbed it by the left post. Baki Laçin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Baki Laçin made a huge save. When Atilla Kağan Reşit fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balıkesirspor's protests and gave Atilla Kağan Reşit a yellow card for diving instead. Baki Laçin made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Balıkesirspor's Çeliker Orun got a free kick in the 84th minute. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Baki Laçin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baki Laçin made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the Uruguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Balıkesirspor.
