The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Refik Halit Süngü made a kick off. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Yaser Sururi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Refik Halit Süngü got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yaser Sururi. ASLAN TERBİYECİSİ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Yaser Sururi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 88 minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Refik Halit Süngü in the 95th minute of play. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
