Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. Hannes Schmielau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 4th minute of play. Luca Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Moritz Sellmer got free with Dante Lacasa in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Moritz Sellmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luca Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Hannes Schmielau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hannes Schmielau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Jan-Moritz Sellmer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Pabing SV's Hendrik Heimann got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hannes Schmielau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Moritz Sellmer in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 41 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hannes Schmielau was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 44th minute of play forced Pabing SV's goalkeeper Hannes Schmielau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Jan-Moritz Sellmer made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Luque to maneuver through the defense. Andi Metzler hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremiah St. Juste in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 61st minute of play forced Pabing SV's goalkeeper Hannes Schmielau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hannes Schmielau made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. Andi Metzler scored 1-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Gabriel Nazar, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 70 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Dante Lacasa was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Hannes Schmielau in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pabing SV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Luca Rouco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hannes Schmielau quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 76th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hannes Schmielau saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 79 minutes into the match, Pabing SV's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Hannes Schmielau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hannes Schmielau was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberto Tafalla showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 81 minute of play. In the 86th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hannes Schmielau having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Hannes Schmielau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mexico's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
