Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Francisco Seco made the kick off which started today's match. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Húsares! Húsares's Florencio Ferran got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florencio Ferran's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Florencio Ferran struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Húsares. After having played for 24 minutes, Florencio Ferran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Húsares's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florencio Ferran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jaime Cazalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florencio Ferran took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 38th minute, Florencio Ferran made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Florencio Ferran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Florencio Ferran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 47th minute of play forced Húsares's goalkeeper Fabio Quintyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Florencio Ferran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Florencio Ferran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the game, Húsares's Florencio Ferran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The Húsares fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Húsares's Florencio Ferran looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maksymilian Wydrych, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Húsares getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Maksymilian Wydrych hit a great ball. Húsares made a substitution. Teobaldo Ibon replaced Florencio Ferran. After 70 played minutes Húsares got a freekick which was hit by Maksymilian Wydrych. In the 74th minute, Teobaldo Ibon made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teobaldo Ibon went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Teobaldo Ibon struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Húsares. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Húsares was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maksymilian Wydrych didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Húsares fans cheered their team off the field, for while Uruguay had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
