Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dario Cvitanich made the kick off and thus started the match. 5 minutes into the match, Club Estudiantes de Mza's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Victorino Timo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 6 minutes Club Estudiantes de Mza's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. 7 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Cvitanich came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Club Estudiantes de Mza's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorino Timo came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victorino Timo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montenegro to a score. 0-1 in the 13th minute. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justino Amaya in the 16th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Timo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute, Adilson Quintal fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Amaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Club Estudiantes de Mza's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Victorino Timo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victorino Timo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Club Estudiantes de Mza's Matias Jesco got a free kick in the 50th minute. Victorino Timo made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Cvitanich, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Adilson Quintal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 64th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Felix Montenegro heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 66 minutes into the match, Club Estudiantes de Mza's goalkeeper Victorino Timo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Victorino Timo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Farias kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Club Estudiantes de Mza's Victorino Timo got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Estudiantes de Mza's Sebastian Farias got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Cvitanich came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victorino Timo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Victorino Timo. Felix Montenegro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Matias Jesco hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After having played for 85 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Llorian in the 93rd minute of play. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
