Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sever Tomulescu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ernest Inculeț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Fernandino in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of Fc Universitatea Cluj booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Curbelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mihail Pavalescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. Moises Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 17 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Leguizamo. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sever Tomulescu in the 24th minute of play. Sever Tomulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Diederick Englebert dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ricardo Zorita, 2-0. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sever Tomulescu went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 42nd minute, Sever Tomulescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ricardo Zorita. The goal made the score 5-0. In the 45th minute Diederick Englebert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Sever Tomulescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, El Salvador's Abram Luque sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernest Inculeț narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tautrimas Čepulis in the 57th minute of play. Sever Tomulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sever Tomulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 67th play minutes Sever Tomulescu shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Ricardo Zorita and just under the crossbar into goal. After some careless play in the Fc Universitatea Cluj defense, Moises Fernandino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernest Inculeț. The Fc Universitatea Cluj fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernest Inculeț should have stopped the shot. In the 77th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. Tautrimas Čepulis might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tautrimas Čepulis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85th minute, Otsoa Manzardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sever Tomulescu in the 89th minute of play. Moises Fernandinos short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Ernest Inculeț to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the referee ended the match the Fc Universitatea Cluj players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
