Anıl Cenk Yılğıralp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacinto Galeno took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Jacinto Galeno sent off a good shot on target. 20 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Galeno. In the 25th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandros Ismael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anıl Cenk Yılğıralp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The corner led Águilas Poblanas's Iker Urti to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alexandros Ismael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacinto Galeno succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 36th playminute. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Alexandros Ismael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Águilas Poblanas fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Águilas Poblanas's Jacinto Galeno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlo Ciolli to make the kick off. Iker Urti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In the 56thth minute of the game Carlo Ciolli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Beltran in the 57th minute of the match. The supporters of Águilas Poblanas booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Ciolli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Klement Malik in the 66th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas. In the 67th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandros Ismael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Eusebio Beltran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Alexandros Ismael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 74th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Amedeo Vitucci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Águilas Poblanas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 92nd match minute, Águilas Poblanas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anıl Cenk Yılğıralp to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
