But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Junior Quintana couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Erwann Patrice sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Junior Quintana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Junior Quintana came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 18 minute. Erwann Patrice sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Junior Quintana in the 25th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Cosa nostra Lyon's Félicien Boidin. But to his dismay, Félicien Boidin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Junior Quintana in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clem Fath saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Junior Quintana, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 39th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erwann Patrice's shot from short distance in the 40th minute.

Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willy Hautefeuille in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clem Fath saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Cosa nostra Lyon's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Jonathan Venegas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cosa nostra Lyon's Clem Fath did a great save. In the 71st minute, Erwann Patrice ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erwann Patrice, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erwann Patrice in the 78th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute Erwann Patrice shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erwann Patrice in the 86th minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erwann Patrice in the 88th minute of play. Erwann Patrice sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Junior Quintana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Junior Quintana in the 96th minute of play.
