Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Frits Heinel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frits Heinel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. 5 minutes into the match, Palestra14's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Frits Heinel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frits Heinel. Palestra14's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The corner led to Ecuador's Luis Andino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Palestra14's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Frits Heinel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frits Heinel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 31 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Frits Heinel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Palestra14's Frits Heinel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Palestra14's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Frits Heinel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frits Heinel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Fioriti in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rdth minute of the game Fausto Fioriti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Fioriti's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute.

When Gianluigi Lentini fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palestra14's protests and gave Gianluigi Lentini a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Frits Heinel made a huge save. In the 54th minute, Beppe Dorigatti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Palestra14's Vinnie Jones broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 61stth minute of the game Fausto Fioriti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frits Heinel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 67 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute Cain Vieri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palestra14 the free kick. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. When Palestra14's Fausto Fioriti in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frits Heinel having to interfere. Frits Heinel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador played a much better game than Palestra14 and deserved their victory. The Palestra14 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
