Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) David Aiach made the kick off and thus started the match. Olímpico FC's Geovânio Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olímpico FC's goalkeeper Geovânio Hoffmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovânio Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 11th minute of play forced Olímpico FC's goalkeeper Geovânio Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 minutes Olímpico FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Rafa Vidal tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Geovânio Hoffmann. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 13th minute. After 18 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovânio Hoffmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Geovânio Hoffmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play forced Olímpico FC's goalkeeper Geovânio Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Olímpico FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute of play forced Olímpico FC's goalkeeper Geovânio Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Geovânio Hoffmann despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Abel Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovânio Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geovânio Hoffmann. Olímpico FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Olímpico FC's Geovânio Hoffmann. Geovânio Hoffmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 64 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. In the 64th minute, Abel Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geovânio Hoffmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Geovânio Hoffmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Saelices in the 68th minute. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Geovânio Hoffmann made a huge save. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Zorita was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Aiach in the 77th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Olímpico FC got a freekick which was hit by Rafa Vidal. 79 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Geovânio Hoffmann threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Daniel Zorita this time. In the 86th minute, Cláudio Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th match minute, Olímpico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Dias to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Olímpico FC's goalkeeper Geovânio Hoffmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. David Aiach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Geovânio Hoffmann. That made the score 0-6 in the 93 minute of play. Agustín Saelices struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Geovânio Hoffmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
