None of the them looked very eager to play. 庄烨晨 started the match with the kick off. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. 5 minutes into the game, 武冰伟 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 12th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by 尹凡威 in the 13th minute really tested Ricardo Zorita's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Tamayo during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, Marco Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentino Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. 武冰伟 came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ricardo Zorita could save by the left post. 武冰伟 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 高西棋 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Jesus Carvallo got a free kick in the 40th minute. 庄烨晨 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When 康斌常 fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 武汉菜鸟队's protests and gave 康斌常 a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of El Salvador booed when 武汉菜鸟队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. 康斌常 didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in 武汉菜鸟队's zone, Moises Fernandino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 石森奕 came out of the goal and Moises Fernandino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

52 minutes into the game, 尹凡威 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 武汉菜鸟队's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Salvador the free kick. In the 51st minute, one of 武汉菜鸟队:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for 武汉菜鸟队. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by 武汉菜鸟队's 庄烨晨. But to his dismay, 庄烨晨 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 71st minute, 庄烨晨 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Marco Tamayo hit a great ball. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 庄烨晨 in the 77th minute of the match. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 武冰伟, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, 黄悦渊 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 84th minute of the match Marco Tamayo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Marco Tamayo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 庄烨晨 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 石森奕 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Fernandino in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the match, 武汉菜鸟队's goalkeeper 石森奕 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moises Fernandino. Moises Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. 石森奕 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Salvador. After having played for 95 minutes, 高西棋 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 武汉菜鸟队's supporters crossed their fingers, but 高西棋 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the El Salvador players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for 武汉菜鸟队.
