Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Vätö's Stig-Åke Söderman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Vätö were awarded a corner. Ingmar Håkansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 13th minute of the match. In the 13th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Villa to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Stig-Åke Söderman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vätö's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Åke Söderman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henry Hermansson kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Ingmar Håkansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 22nd minute of play. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ingmar Håkansson. Vätö's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmundo Espiga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 33 played minutes Vätö got a freekick which was hit by Evert Sörman. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Åke Söderman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Vätö's Ingmar Håkansson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Honduras booed when Vätö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Hermansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evert Sörman kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Vätö's Stig-Åke Söderman made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 56th minute, Henry Hermansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Henry Hermansson fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vätö's protests and gave Henry Hermansson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vätö's Henry Hermansson got a free kick in the 57th minute. Stig-Åke Söderman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Edmundo Espiga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ingmar Håkansson. The goal made the score 2-3. A nice corner shot did that Edmundo Espiga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ingmar Håkansson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ingmar Håkansson made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Milagros Cabal sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute Henry Hermansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Vätö's Ingmar Håkansson got control of the ball when Sebastian Villa tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-5.
