William Dahlqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Dahlqvist in the 11th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Alberto Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliodor Elian in the 12th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbasa Jofre having to interfere. With an all-out effort, ...ASGARD...'s Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eliodor Elian, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If William Dahlqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mimoun Palić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cosmin Balaban in the 32nd minute. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Urbasa Jofre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Urbasa Jofre. Urbasa Jofre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Mexico booed when ...ASGARD... was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Csongor Csonka didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mimoun Palić in the 44th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Mimoun Palić made the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Mancebo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute of the match ...ASGARD... got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maxim Ştiubei ran over to the corner to take the kick. Maxim Ştiubei made a great header on ...ASGARD...'s corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 57thth minute of the game Joel Gaona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ...ASGARD...'s Urbasa Jofre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Maxim Ştiubei came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the ...ASGARD... fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maxim Ştiubei couldn't finish the play. After 63 minutes of play, ...ASGARD...'s William Dahlqvist made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! ...ASGARD...'s Urbasa Jofre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Urbasa Jofre saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 70th minute, Eliodor Elian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. ...ASGARD... made a substitution. Wilson Pereira replaced Maxim Ştiubei. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Urbasa Jofre successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, ...ASGARD...'s Urbasa Jofre got control of the ball when Luca Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, one of ...ASGARD...:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mimoun Palić in the 94th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
