Pasha Jayusman kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Thiago Pliego was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Corrado Zinni capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Corrado Zinni really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 12th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Garrido to maneuver through the defense. In the 14thth minute of the game Didiet Jeliteng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Madrid City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Alex Brunov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Didiet Jeliteng in the 21st minute of play. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Madrid City FC's goalkeeper Alex Brunov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Brunov. Alex Brunov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Didiet Jeliteng came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Madrid City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Didiet Jeliteng couldn't finish the play. Didiet Jeliteng blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thiago Pliego having to make a save. A collision led to Madrid City FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Winarto Rahardjo hit a great ball. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alex Brunov having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 41st minute of play forced Madrid City FC's goalkeeper Alex Brunov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex Brunov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Madrid City FC's Alex Brunov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 46th minute of play. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didiet Jeliteng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off in the second half. After 61st play minutes Mariano Lacasa shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Alex Brunov and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 63rd minute, Didiet Jeliteng left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Madrid City FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 67 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Alex Brunov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 70 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Brunov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Madrid City FC's Alex Brunov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Madrid City FC from getting a goal against them. Didiet Jeliteng struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madrid City FC. Didiet Jeliteng's late challenge caught a Chile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Didiet Jeliteng helped the player get up and apologised. Didiet Jeliteng kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Madrid City FC's goalkeeper Alex Brunov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Alex Brunov made a huge save. The throw-in from Felix Garrido in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Madrid City FC's Winarto Rahardjo. Alex Brunov made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target.
