Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 10 played minutes Racing Matinette got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Van Cauwenbergh. In the 12th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Jans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's Felix Montes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Casper Jans in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 27 minutes into the match, Racing Matinette's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Casper Jans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alan Creemers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 30 minutes of play, Racing Matinette's Alan Creemers made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera was a little too slow when Alan Creemers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 2-0. 39 minutes into the match, Racing Matinette's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Casper Jans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alan Creemers's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alan Creemers to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Racing Matinette getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Yu Le Xi hit a great ball. After 58 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. In the 61st match minute, Racing Matinette was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Qu Hong Liang to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Matinette's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Jans came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Casper Jans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Racing Matinette's corner Ruben Van Der Taelen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Racing Matinette's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 82 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qu Hong Liang, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Jens Verheecke charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jens Verheecke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Racing Matinette getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jens Verheecke hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Casper Jans firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Racing Matinette getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Yu Le Xi hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Casper Jans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Racing Matinette support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
