LaZuli were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Sporting DoutroMundo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Henrique Durães took the corner. Emanuel Lencastre was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 23 minutes into the match, Zachariasz Dunajski notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Sporting DoutroMundo's Dimas Nunes. Dimas Nunes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zachariasz Dunajski might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dimas Nunes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zachariasz Dunajski ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 31st minute Zachariasz Dunajski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimas Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimas Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zachariasz Dunajski in the 32nd minute of the match. Zachariasz Dunajski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dimas Nunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Ademar Rebocho hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zachariasz Dunajski to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Gualter Espírito Santo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting DoutroMundo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LaZuli the free kick. The supporters of LaZuli booed when Sporting DoutroMundo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualter Espírito Santo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute LaZuli were awarded a corner. Henrique Durães went to the cornerflag to take it. Emanuel Lencastre made a great header on LaZuli's corner, it was just that Sporting DoutroMundo's Dimas Nunes managed to reach the ball for a save. A nice corner shot did that Isac Quadros got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dimas Nunes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Sporting DoutroMundo's Dimas Nunes got control of the ball when Joan Queralt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st minute of the match LaZuli got a corner. Sporting DoutroMundo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henrique Durães ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led LaZuli's Éder Almeida to fire away a dangerous shot which Dimas Nunes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Sporting DoutroMundo's goalie and right to Éder Almeida. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Sporting DoutroMundo's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a rather tough play, LaZuli's Éder Almeida got a free kick in the 67th minute. Jorge Infante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalberto Guerreiro in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachariasz Dunajski in the 75th minute of play forced Sporting DoutroMundo's goalkeeper Dimas Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sporting DoutroMundo's Aprígio Vasques got a free kick in the 77th minute. After 82 minutes Sporting DoutroMundo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Henrique Durães who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Emanuel Lencastre heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Jorge Infante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aprígio Vasques in the 84th minute of play. Dimas Nunes made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Éder Almeida sent off a good shot on target. 92 minutes into the match, Sporting DoutroMundo's goal looked a bit too open when Zachariasz Dunajski came free, but Dimas Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sporting DoutroMundo's Ademar Rebocho got a free kick in the 94th minute. Dimas Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachariasz Dunajski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over LaZuli could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sporting DoutroMundo throughout the match.
