Ignatius Casasola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abílio Passos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, SC Freiburg 09's Ivo Guterres got control of the ball when Torcato Rebocho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute, Salvador Lousada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Leal in the 15th minute of play forced Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper Ignatius Casasola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raul Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignatius Casasola having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Abílio Passos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignatius Casasola was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. 24 minutes into the game, Garanhão do SUL's Edgar Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivo Guterres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. SC Freiburg 09's Ivo Guterres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save SC Freiburg 09 from getting a goal against them. Nuno Bragança recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ignatius Casasola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Leal in the 31st minute of the match. Ignatius Casasola came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Freiburg 09's Abílio Passos. But to his dismay, Abílio Passos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Garanhão do SUL's 龙然明 got a free kick in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Leal came free, but Ignatius Casasola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Leal in the 39th minute of play forced Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper Ignatius Casasola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vasco Brás made a great header on SC Freiburg 09's corner, it was just that Garanhão do SUL's Ignatius Casasola managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, SC Freiburg 09's Ivo Guterres got control of the ball when Edgar Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute of the match, Edgar Costa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ivo Guterres was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
The wind increased when Edgar Costa made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Edgar Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Guterres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garanhão do SUL's Ignatius Casasola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Leal in the 55th minute of play. When Raul Leal came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the SC Freiburg 09 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Leal couldn't finish the play. Garanhão do SUL's Albano Leizarraga was substituted for Edgar Costa. Garanhão do SUL made a substitution. André Roriz replaced Virgílio Teves. 59 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 09's goal looked a bit too open when André Roriz came free, but Ivo Guterres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper Ignatius Casasola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. André Roriz's late challenge caught a SC Freiburg 09's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Roriz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Garanhão do SUL's André Roriz got a free kick in the 69th minute. Albano Leizarraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ivo Guterres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivo Guterres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Leizarraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Ivo Guterres came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Garanhão do SUL's Albano Leizarraga. But to his dismay, Albano Leizarraga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Ignatius Casasola successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 88th match minute, SC Freiburg 09 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Leal to maneuver through the defense. André Roriz took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivo Guterres. Ivo Guterres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. If Raul Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Garanhão do SUL had won after a very even match.
