After taking down the ball on SC Freiburg 09's corner Mehmet Ferit İsmet fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Júlio César quite easily take care of the ball. Vasco Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio César having to interfere. Abílio Passos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Júlio César made a huge save. SC Freiburg 09's Ivo Guterres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Berenguer in the 70th minute of play. After 71 played minutes AD Oliveirense got a freekick which was hit by André Fraga. André Fraga kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
