The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tommy Hellström the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of LaZuli protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tommy Hellström had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 30th minute, one of LaZuli:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for LaZuli. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Golo Duarte in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Infante saved LaZuli from getting behind. 37 minutes into the match, LaZuli's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Vegetti came free, but Jorge Infante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Golo Duarte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. LaZuli's Jorge Infante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Golo Duarte in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of LaZuli booed when CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
