After having played for 3 minutes, Jiang De managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gremio Viana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jiang De was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lisandro Festas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiang De, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jiang De had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lisandro Festas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jiang De in the 10th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, SLB TELHA's goal looked a bit too open when Jiang De came free, but Lisandro Festas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, SLB TELHA's Noel Marinho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Samuel Fiúza. Samuel Fiúza yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 29 minutes into the game, Jiang De cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Lisandro Festas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiang De in the 31st minute of play forced SLB TELHA's goalkeeper Lisandro Festas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuel Fiúza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liboslav Krušina in the 34th minute of play. Jiang De struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Lisandro Festas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gremio Viana. In the 42nd match minute, SLB TELHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Assunção to maneuver through the defense. SLB TELHA's Lisandro Festas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jiang De in the 43rd minute of play. Lisandro Festas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jiang De in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Lisandro Festas made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Jiang De sent off a good shot on target. Samuel Fiúza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Chesus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Gremio Viana's goal looked a bit too open when Liboslav Krušina came free, but Samuel Fiúza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gremio Viana's Jiang De got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SLB TELHA's João Assunção got a free kick in the 71st minute. SLB TELHA's Lisandro Festas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save SLB TELHA from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Luna in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lisandro Festas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Gremio Viana getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Albi Koka hit a great ball. Lisandro Festas made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Carlos Luna sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in SLB TELHA's zone, Carlos Luna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Festas came out of the goal and Carlos Luna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
