The LaZuli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 18 minutes, José Fonte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ADCR Loreto United FC and the LaZuli players grew even worse after the yellow card. José Fonte kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. LaZuli's Jorge Infante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sálvio Ribeiro in the 20th minute of play. Zachariasz Dunajski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimiro Matai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Vladimiro Matai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachariasz Dunajski in the 24th minute of play. If David Liberato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. In the 40th minute of the match ADCR Loreto United FC got a corner. LaZuli's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cesário Abrantes ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of LaZuli's goalie and right to Frederico Torcato. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. LaZuli's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The supporters of LaZuli booed when ADCR Loreto United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubim Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arthur Maia hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

LaZuli's Joan Queralt was substituted for David Liberato. The wind increased when Sálvio Ribeiro made the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Curado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Fonte hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sálvio Ribeiro in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Infante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorge Infante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Curado in the 92nd minute of play. Sálvio Ribeiro scored 2-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Infante, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. LaZuli succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though ADCR Loreto United FC had controlled the match.
