Rodrigo Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Guerra in the 8th minute of play forced Machados FC V2's goalkeeper Rodrigo Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute of the match Machados FC V2 got a corner. MEXACOMX's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pascoal Espírito Santo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Paul Levițchi made a great header on Machados FC V2's corner, it was just that MEXACOMX's Januário Rangel managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paul Levițchi got free with Januário Rangel in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Januário Rangel came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Machados FC V2's António Varanda. But to his dismay, António Varanda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. António Varanda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Januário Rangel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th match minute, Machados FC V2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Varanda to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that António Varanda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Januário Rangel was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. When Maurício Meireles, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 36 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rodrigo Lima was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Varanda in the 39th minute of play forced MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Januário Rangel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Machados FC V2's António Varanda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Januário Rangel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, António Varanda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Machados FC V2's supporters rose to their feet, but António Varanda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Januário Rangel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Maurício Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricardo Guerra to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Machados FC V2 got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Soveral. Ricardo Guerra might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodrigo Lima. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardo Guerra ran back to his position shaking his head. Machados FC V2's Rodrigo Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Machados FC V2 from getting a goal against them. António Varanda might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Januário Rangel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. António Varanda ran back to his position shaking his head. Januário Rangel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from António Varanda, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Rodrigo Lima made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Ricardo Guerra sent off a good shot on target. MEXACOMX's Januário Rangel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Varanda in the 65th minute of play. Rodrigo Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wu Liang Mo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. A collision led to MEXACOMX getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ricardo Guerra hit a great ball. MEXACOMX's Tomás Jordão was substituted for Ricardo Guerra. The supporters of Machados FC V2 booed when MEXACOMX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Januário Rangel came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Machados FC V2's António Varanda. But to his dismay, António Varanda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 84 minutes, Remzi Bozlak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Machados FC V2 and the MEXACOMX players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maurício Meireles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Rodrigo Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Remzi Bozlak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Machados FC V2's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
