Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ricardo Guerra took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gremio Viana's Samuel Fiúza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Gremio Viana from getting a goal against them. Gremio Viana's Joaquim Paredes got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute of the match Gremio Viana got a corner. MEXACOMX's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Augustin Panaiteanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Augustin Panaiteanu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MEXACOMX's Januário Rangel did a great save. Augustin Panaiteanu hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 25th match minute, MEXACOMX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio Leite to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute Joaquim Paredes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Januário Rangel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Fiúza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Guerra in the 29th minute. When Joaquim Paredes came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Gremio Viana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Paredes couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute, Cláudio Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Higino Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Gremio Viana's Samuel Fiúza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Leite in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Joaquim Paredes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gremio Viana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After the first half Gremio Viana were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquim Paredes to strike the kick off in the second half. Januário Rangel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Paredes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariusz Lamczyk kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rdth minute of the game Ricardo Guerra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gremio Viana's Samuel Fiúza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Januário Rangel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 68th minute Gremio Viana were awarded a corner. Augustin Panaiteanu went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Tony Påk got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Januário Rangel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. MEXACOMX made a substitution. Tomás Jordão replaced Ricardo Guerra. 74 minutes into the game, Wu Liang Mo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Gremio Viana's Amado Melo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Luna got free with Januário Rangel in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Mariusz Lamczyk fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gremio Viana's protests and gave Mariusz Lamczyk a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gremio Viana! Gremio Viana:s Samuel Fiúza showed great skill when he stopped Giannis Kouretzis:s penalty. 1-1 came in the 79th minute when Giannis Kouretzis all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Samuel Fiúza. The throw-in from Amado Melo in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MEXACOMX's Cláudio Leite. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Luna got free with Januário Rangel in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 87 minutes, Cláudio Leite mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MEXACOMX and the Gremio Viana players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to MEXACOMX getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Cláudio Leite hit a great ball. Carlos Luna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Januário Rangel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Luna hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute Carlos Luna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Januário Rangel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Tomás Jordão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Fiúza was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. After 98 minutes of play, MEXACOMX's Tomás Jordão made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Fiúza was left in no man's land by his defense there! MEXACOMX made a substitution. Fryderyk Gierlach replaced Cláudio Leite. MEXACOMX's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
