Karl Nietlisbach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Gentil in the 9th minute of play forced ADCR Loreto United FC's goalkeeper Vladimiro Matai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Sabino Vilhena put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vladimiro Matai. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sálvio Ribeiro in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vito de Godoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Matos Velhos's Vladimiro Matai threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jiang Qing Lin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 23 minutes into the match, ADCR Loreto United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Gentil came free, but Vladimiro Matai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimiro Matai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiang Qing Lin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind ADCR Loreto United FC's goalkeeper Vladimiro Matai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Nietlisbach in the 35th minute of play forced ADCR Loreto United FC's goalkeeper Vladimiro Matai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimiro Matai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabino Vilhena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matos Velhos's Vito de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesário Abrantes in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, ADCR Loreto United FC's goalkeeper Vladimiro Matai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sabino Vilhena. When Matos Velhos's Sabino Vilhena in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ADCR Loreto United FC's goalie prevented a goal. ADCR Loreto United FC's Vladimiro Matai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save ADCR Loreto United FC from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sabino Vilhena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Curado got free with Vito de Godoi in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vladimiro Matai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabino Vilhena in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Matos Velhos's goal looked a bit too open when Sálvio Ribeiro came free, but Vito de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vito de Godoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Curado in the 59th minute. ADCR Loreto United FC's Vladimiro Matai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Nietlisbach in the 61st minute of play. When Matos Velhos's Sabino Vilhena in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ADCR Loreto United FC's goalie prevented a goal. Matos Velhos's Lee Beckford was substituted for Karl Nietlisbach. Matos Velhos made a substitution. Arthur Maia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vito de Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. André Madruga kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Vladimiro Matai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Candal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vito de Godoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Curado in the 87th minute. Vladimiro Matai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiang Qing Lin in the 89th minute of the match. ADCR Loreto United FC's Vladimiro Matai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Candal in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, ADCR Loreto United FC's Cesário Abrantes got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Henrique Candal scored 3-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vladimiro Matai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Matos Velhos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
