Fernando Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Montrel, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lobos de Carelia's goalie prevented a goal. In the 16th minute of the match Despidida AFC got a corner. Lobos de Carelia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emanuel Lucila ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 21st minute, Cain Velasquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 24 minutes, Alvaro Raymond made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Montrel in the 26th minute of play. Alvaro Raymond's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nestor Cortez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nestor Cortez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 35 minutes into the match, Alvaro Raymond had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nestor Cortez. Lobos de Carelia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvaro Raymond was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Fernando Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Lia in the 39th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvaro Raymond in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Cortez saved Lobos de Carelia from getting behind. After having played for 45 minutes, Alvaro Raymond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Despidida AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Raymond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristobal Lia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Perico in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lobos de Carelia's Vecdi Tamkut got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Alvaro Raymond's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nestor Cortez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. With a little luck, Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez got control of the ball when Alvaro Raymond tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Percha in the 84th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Robert Percha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Cortez was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. In the 93rd match minute, Lobos de Carelia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Jimenez to maneuver through the defense. Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Percha in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Despidida AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
