After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Alvaro Raymond managed to get in a good position for a shot. Despidida AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Raymond was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivar Bjurström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 19 minutes into the match, Glorioso Deportivo Cali's goalkeeper Ivar Bjurström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvaro Raymond. Ivar Bjurström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvaro Raymond's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Alvaro Raymond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Despidida AFC's zone, Rosalio Roson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Selatse came out of the goal and Rosalio Roson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute, Rosalio Roson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Glorioso Deportivo Cali's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Raymond came free, but Ivar Bjurström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Despidida AFC were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Glorioso Deportivo Cali's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gabriel Silban took the corner. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Percha in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivar Bjurström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 78 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's Robert Percha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivar Bjurström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rosalio Roson hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Ivar Bjurström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Percha in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Rosalio Roson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fernando Selatse. Rosalio Roson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. After a rather tough play, Despidida AFC's Emanuel Lucila got a free kick in the 88th minute. Arturo Arano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Silban made a great header on Despidida AFC's corner, it was just that Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Ivar Bjurström managed to reach the ball for a save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Glorioso Deportivo Cali players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Despidida AFC.
