The Glorioso Deportivo Cali fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivar Bjurström should have stopped the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Glorioso Deportivo Cali's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Crouch came free, but Ivar Bjurström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivar Bjurström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Crouch in the 24th minute of play. Qin Fan Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartosz Wicherek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Crouch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivar Bjurström having to make a save. Ivar Bjurström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Crouch, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Ivar Bjurström came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by ZORZAL01's Peter Crouch. But to his dismay, Peter Crouch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ivar Bjurström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peter Crouch's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute, Peter Crouch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ZORZAL01 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Crouch made a kick off. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Ivar Bjurström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Crouch in the 54th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Peter Crouch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ZORZAL01 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After a rather tough play, ZORZAL01's Horacio Librado got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd match minute, ZORZAL01 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Burdzel to maneuver through the defense. Jacindo Baezabal's shot from long distance in the 64th minute was not bad at all, but ZORZAL01's Qin Fan Sheng knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. In the 66th minute, Peter Crouch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivar Bjurström was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Qin Fan Sheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartosz Wicherek in the 69th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Peter Crouch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivar Bjurström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Crouch in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute ZORZAL01 were awarded a corner. Pavel Nedvěd went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on ZORZAL01's corner Pavel Nedvěd fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ivar Bjurström quite easily take care of the ball. In the 83rd minute Peter Crouch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Bjurström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Rodrigo Hernández hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, ZORZAL01's Peter Crouch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivar Bjurström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Peter Crouch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 95 minutes of play, ZORZAL01's Peter Crouch made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivar Bjurström was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ZORZAL01 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Glorioso Deportivo Cali had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
