Ivar Bjurström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 15 played minutes Playa Malvín's Stelian Murgu stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Ivar Bjurström stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Glorioso Deportivo Cali of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's Gong Qi Fan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivar Bjurström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rosalio Roson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Nils Elmhuus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gong Qi Fan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 31 minutes into the match, Glorioso Deportivo Cali's goalkeeper Ivar Bjurström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gong Qi Fan. Stelian Murgu might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivar Bjurström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stelian Murgu ran back to his position shaking his head. Gong Qi Fan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivar Bjurström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Gong Qi Fan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Playa Malvín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gong Qi Fan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gong Qi Fan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Gong Qi Fan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivar Bjurström was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gong Qi Fan was the one to do the kick off. Nils Elmhuus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartosz Wicherek, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. If Gong Qi Fan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Gong Qi Fan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Playa Malvín's supporters rose to their feet, but Gong Qi Fan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivar Bjurström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gong Qi Fan in the 59th minute of play forced Glorioso Deportivo Cali's goalkeeper Ivar Bjurström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Gong Qi Fan notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Ivar Bjurström. Ivar Bjurström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 61 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Bartosz Wicherek came free, but Nils Elmhuus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivar Bjurström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gong Qi Fan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Playa Malvín's Alvise Catapano got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Playa Malvín made a substitution. Sandu Mândrilă replaced Jabier Igual. Playa Malvín's Quinto Ampudia was substituted for Gong Qi Fan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quinto Ampudia in the 75th minute of play forced Glorioso Deportivo Cali's goalkeeper Ivar Bjurström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Quinto Ampudia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Playa Malvín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Rodrigo Hernández kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Playa Malvín's Sandu Mândrilă got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alvise Catapano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ivar Bjurström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Playa Malvín players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
