With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils Elmhuus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30thth minute of the game Tiburcio Marques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Playa Malvín's Nils Elmhuus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fırat Aytekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gong Qi Fan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Playa Malvín's Nils Elmhuus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Marques in the 35th minute of play. Nils Elmhuus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Eriberto Talló had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nils Elmhuus. Playa Malvín's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eriberto Talló was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Tiburcio Marques took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nils Elmhuus. Nils Elmhuus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gong Qi Fan to make the kick off. Corinthians Paulista's corner Doğuhan Alpaslan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nils Elmhuus quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Evandro Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's supporters rose to their feet, but Evandro Trancoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nils Elmhuus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. S.C. Corinthians Paulista succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Playa Malvín had controlled the match.
