Peep Pronk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Fabien Barthez made a huge save. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Egg Chasers FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pancho Branca was slow to take the kick. During this time AC LeX Luthor's players had a chance to rest. AC LeX Luthor's Pancho Branca was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fabien Barthez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 31 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Peep Pronk came free, but Fabien Barthez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Tolek Chazen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Egg Chasers FC's Fabien Barthez did a great save. Fabien Barthez made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Peep Pronk sent off a good shot on target. Peep Pronk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maurício Bomba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pancho Branca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabien Barthez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Alberto Marquez came free, but Fabien Barthez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Kenny Duckworth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabien Barthez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Marquez in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by D.J. 赵云 in the 92nd minute of play forced Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Fabien Barthez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AC LeX Luthor fans cheered their team off the field, for while Egg Chasers FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
