In a very dangerous position, a player in ITAFUT 4EVER fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Egg Chasers FC a penalty, 44 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kenny Duckworth, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ITAFUT 4EVER's Nilson Peres. 0-2. If Jardel Baggio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Fabien Barthez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel Baggio in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute Egg Chasers FC were awarded a corner. Kenny Duckworth went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 62nd minute, Jonny Wilkinson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 63 played minutes ITAFUT 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Durval Nascimento. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Egg Chasers FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marquinhos Best was slow to take the kick. During this time ITAFUT 4EVER's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Marquinhos Best got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fabien Barthez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 68thth minute of the game Jardel Baggio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Egg Chasers FC's Fabien Barthez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ITAFUT 4EVER's Nilson Peres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save ITAFUT 4EVER from getting a goal against them.
