Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Per Stenberg started the match with the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Hubert Fagrell successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Per Stenberg took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabien Barthez. Fabien Barthez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 11th minute, Rex Attenborough hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Egg Chasers FC's Lee Bannatyne got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute, Per Stenberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Per Stenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 20th minute Per Stenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabien Barthez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rönnöfors FF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Per Stenberg in the 23rd minute. After 25 minutes Egg Chasers FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Per Stenberg who took care of the corner kick. Per Stenberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabien Barthez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Egg Chasers FC booed when Rönnöfors FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Fagerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per Stenberg scored 0-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabien Barthez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rex Attenborough made in the 43rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Joel Groom. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Stenberg in the 46th minute of play forced Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Fabien Barthez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Rönnöfors FF were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matthew Brookman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Per Stenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 54 minutes into the match, Per Stenberg notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Egg Chasers FC's Fabien Barthez. Fabien Barthez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Per Stenberg took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabien Barthez. Fabien Barthez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Per Stenberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabien Barthez came out and tried to block the shot, but Per Stenberg slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 62nd minute. 66 minutes into the game, Rönnöfors FF's Per Stenberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabien Barthez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. In the 70th minute Per Stenberg suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Alex Barone fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Egg Chasers FC's protests and gave Alex Barone a yellow card for diving instead. Rönnöfors FF's Holger Forssberg was substituted for Per Stenberg. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Egg Chasers FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rönnöfors FF:s goal. Fabien Barthez had in the 72ndth minute some difficulties stopping Henry Fagerberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Hubert Fagrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Groom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Groom in the 78th minute of play forced Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Hubert Fagrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Fagerberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Fabien Barthez made a huge save. Fabien Barthez came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Rönnöfors FF's Holger Forssberg. But to his dismay, Holger Forssberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Holger Forssberg in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabien Barthez saved Egg Chasers FC from getting behind. A collision led to Rönnöfors FF getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Bertil Hellgren hit a great ball. Hubert Fagrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Stonehouse in the 97th minute of play. In the 99th minute of the match Egg Chasers FC got a corner. Rönnöfors FF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kenny Duckworth ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rönnöfors FF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
