With an extended leg and a bit of luck Magne Gunnarsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Magne Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Lano in the 14th minute of the match. Henry Fagerberg took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dan Wennerqvist. Dan Wennerqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Dan Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Fagerberg in the 34th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goal looked a bit too open when Adrián Espadas came free, but Magne Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Adrián Espadas made a precise shot to the right of Magne Gunnarsson. Rönnöfors FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henry Fagerberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Per Tunström's late challenge caught a Soroca F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Per Tunström helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rönnöfors FF's Per Tunström got a free kick in the 51st minute. Adrián Espadas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Magne Gunnarsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Magne Gunnarsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adrián Espadas went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Soroca F.C.'s Cosme Jaen was substituted for Gustavo Tartalo. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Răzvan Necula replaced Adrián Espadas. In the 63rd minute Henry Fagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Wennerqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sten Hökqvist hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Soroca F.C.'s Rodolfo Atarrabi was substituted for Hernan Lano. Dan Wennerqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per Stenberg in the 72nd minute. Magne Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Răzvan Necula in the 76th minute of the match. Magne Gunnarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Jaen in the 77th minute of play. Soroca F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zézinho Neiva in the 79th minute. A nice corner shot did that Norberto Liberato got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Magne Gunnarsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Per Tunström scored 3-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dan Wennerqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Henry Fagerberg struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Dan Wennerqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rönnöfors FF. Rönnöfors FF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
