In the 3rd minute, Per Stenberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabien Barthez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Per Stenberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabien Barthez having to make a save. In the 7th minute Per Stenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabien Barthez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Rex Attenborough hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Egg Chasers FC's Fabien Barthez got control of the ball when Per Stenberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Joel Groom notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson. Magne Gunnarsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 17 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Per Stenberg came free, but Fabien Barthez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rönnöfors FF's Per Stenberg got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Per Stenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Per Stenberg scored 2-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabien Barthez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rex Attenborough kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Rönnöfors FF's Fabien Barthez threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Per Stenberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 43 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Crouch came free, but Magne Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damian Stonehouse to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goal looked a bit too open when Matthew Brookman came free, but Magne Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 4-2 became the score in the 58th minute when Damian Stonehouse elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Fabien Barthez came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Rönnöfors FF's Per Stenberg. But to his dismay, Per Stenberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Egg Chasers FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rex Wall in the 66th minute. After taking down the ball on Egg Chasers FC's corner Rex Wall fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Magne Gunnarsson quite easily take care of the ball. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Groom in the 70th minute of play. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Fabien Barthez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Egg Chasers FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Per Stenberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Rönnöfors FF's players had a chance to rest. Per Stenberg made a great header on Rönnöfors FF's corner, it was just that Egg Chasers FC's Fabien Barthez managed to reach the ball for a save. Rönnöfors FF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Per Stenberg in the 79th minute. Bertil Hellgren made a great header on Rönnöfors FF's corner, it was just that Egg Chasers FC's Fabien Barthez managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Stenberg in the 82nd minute of play forced Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Fabien Barthez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Per Stenberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabien Barthez. Egg Chasers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Per Stenberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. In the 86th minute, Per Stenberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabien Barthez was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-2. Joel Groom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Magne Gunnarsson made a huge save. The corner led to Rönnöfors FF's Arne Stor getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 94 played minutes Rönnöfors FF got a freekick which was hit by Morgan Björkdahl. In the 95th minute of the match Rex Wall shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Magne Gunnarsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
