Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Martín Palermo kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the game, Playa Malvín's Stamen Tekeliev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Nesor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stamen Tekeliev in the 12th minute of play forced Metal Juniors's goalkeeper Francisco Nesor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Stamen Tekeliev came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Playa Malvín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stamen Tekeliev couldn't finish the play. When Metal Juniors's Martín Palermo in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Playa Malvín's goalie prevented a goal. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martín Palermo in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Stamen Tekeliev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisco Nesor. Metal Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stamen Tekeliev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Francisco Nesor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stamen Tekeliev in the 24th minute of play. In the 26thth minute of the game Stamen Tekeliev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Metal Juniors's Francisco Nesor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute, Martín Palermo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Roberto Teixeira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Metal Juniors's Francisco Nesor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stamen Tekeliev in the 37th minute of play. Martín Palermo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Roberto Teixeira having to make a save. 45 minutes into the match, Metal Juniors's goalkeeper Francisco Nesor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stamen Tekeliev. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stamen Tekeliev to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelian Murgu in the 51st minute of play forced Metal Juniors's goalkeeper Francisco Nesor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martín Palermo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Zé Roberto Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Playa Malvín's Stamen Tekeliev in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sandu Mândrilă made a great header on Playa Malvín's corner, it was just that Metal Juniors's Francisco Nesor managed to reach the ball for a save. Playa Malvín made a substitution. Josu Onez replaced Sandu Mândrilă. The corner led to Playa Malvín's Fausto Jayaga getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Quinto Ampudia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Francisco Nesor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quinto Ampudia in the 72nd minute of play. After 74 played minutes Metal Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Phelipe. When Quinto Ampudia came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Playa Malvín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quinto Ampudia couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute Quinto Ampudia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Nesor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonio Eyague during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes Metal Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Eyague. 95 minutes into the match, Quinto Ampudia notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Metal Juniors's Francisco Nesor. Francisco Nesor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Playa Malvín players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
