The corner ended in Reinaldo Castro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rönnöfors FF's Hubert Fagrell did a great save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Martín Palermo in the 55th minute of play forced Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Hubert Fagrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Metal Juniors's Francisco Nesor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Metal Juniors from getting a goal against them. After 93 minutes of play, Rönnöfors FF's Henry Fagerberg made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Nesor was left in no man's land by his defense there!
