MZ Fénix's Tomasz Waldoch managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Marian Axinte in the 89 minute of the game. 94 minutes into the match, Cai Yuan Yuan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laurențiu Gaciu. Exército Português's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cai Yuan Yuan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. When the referee ended the match the MZ Fénix players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
