The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. SITIO CITY's Zé Gato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cai Yuan Yuan in the 6th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Chiquinho Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind SITIO CITY's goalkeeper Zé Gato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cai Yuan Yuan in the 23rd minute of play forced SITIO CITY's goalkeeper Zé Gato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Gato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Granja in the 26th minute of play. Zé Gato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aras Görkem Kaymaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When MZ Fénix's Cai Yuan Yuan in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Zé Gato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cai Yuan Yuan in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cai Yuan Yuan to strike the kick off in the second half. When Florin Dragușin came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the MZ Fénix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florin Dragușin couldn't finish the play. When SITIO CITY's Carlos Garcia in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Zé Gato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cai Yuan Yuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Luís Carvalho made a precise shot to the right of Pankracy Zajonc. MZ Fénix's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After having played for 76 minutes, Aras Görkem Kaymaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MZ Fénix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aras Görkem Kaymaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SITIO CITY's Fabian Dalman was substituted for Kajetan Paulista. 79 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Carvalho came free, but Pankracy Zajonc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Pimenta hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. SITIO CITY's Zé Gato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cai Yuan Yuan in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute MZ Fénix were awarded a corner. Aras Görkem Kaymaz went to the cornerflag to take it. MZ Fénix's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
