Qiu Chuan Ran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cai Yuan Yuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Cai Yuan Yuan notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Qiu Chuan Ran. Qiu Chuan Ran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Qiu Chuan Ran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cai Yuan Yuan in the 45th minute of the match. The Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MZ Fénix were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raimundo Ventura was the one to do the kick off. MZ Fénix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cai Yuan Yuan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Qiu Chuan Ran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cai Yuan Yuan went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Pankracy Zajonc came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Rodolfo Faria. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Faria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6.
