Jon Oblak made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Zigmantas Gimbutas sent off a good shot on target. In the 8th minute Jürgen Behnke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laçın Cumayev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute of the match Andarilhos got a corner. SC Braga's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adriano Ramires ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Jürgen Behnke at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of SC Braga. 0-1. After 13 minutes of play, Andarilhos's Adriano Ramires made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laçın Cumayev was left in no man's land by his defense there! Laçın Cumayev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fu Han Qiang, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Laçın Cumayev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Montiel in the 20th minute of play. After some careless play in the Andarilhos defense, Benjamin de Lara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jon Oblak. The Andarilhos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jon Oblak should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fu Han Qiang in the 25th minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Laçın Cumayev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Benjamin de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laçın Cumayev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trifon Katsoulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Laçın Cumayev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jürgen Behnke's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Adriano Ramires took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Laçın Cumayev. SC Braga's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Laçın Cumayev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trifon Katsoulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zigmantas Gimbutas to make the kick off. Jürgen Behnke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laçın Cumayev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. In the 54th minute, Benjamin de Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benjamin de Lara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jon Oblak having to make a save. In the 59th minute Jürgen Behnke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laçın Cumayev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goal looked a bit too open when Jürgen Behnke came free, but Laçın Cumayev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Benjamin de Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jon Oblak. Andarilhos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin de Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. With a little luck, SC Braga's Laçın Cumayev got control of the ball when Jürgen Behnke tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd match minute, Andarilhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Montiel to maneuver through the defense. SC Braga made a substitution. Andarilhos made a substitution. Andrzej Zawaski replaced Trifon Katsoulis. The supporters of SC Braga booed when Andarilhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chinagorom 张飞 didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Braga's Antonio Cieri got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laçın Cumayev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fu Han Qiang in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Andarilhos's zone, Jon-Egil Sætre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jon Oblak came out of the goal and Jon-Egil Sætre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Stig-Åke Mattsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jon Oblak was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Jon Oblak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 93rd minute of play. Antonio Cieri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jon Oblak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Andarilhos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
