In the 3rd minute Armando Meireles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Oblak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Przybylski hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Exército Português's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Soveral in the 12th minute of play forced Andarilhos's goalkeeper Jon Oblak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Trifon Katsoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurențiu Gaciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jon Oblak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Meireles, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 22 played minutes Exército Português got a freekick which was hit by Armando Meireles. 24 minutes into the match, Exército Português's goalkeeper Laurențiu Gaciu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fu Han Qiang. The crowd rose to their feet as Andarilhos's Trifon Katsoulis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Laurențiu Gaciu. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. Jon Oblak came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Exército Português's Bruno Soveral. But to his dismay, Bruno Soveral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Jon Oblak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Soveral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Exército Português's goal looked a bit too open when Trifon Katsoulis came free, but Laurențiu Gaciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Andarilhos's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Meireles came free, but Jon Oblak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 minutes Andarilhos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gustavo Carrasqueira who took care of the corner kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Fu Han Qiang made the kick off in the second half. Robert Przybylski lost his temper 55 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 54 minutes into the game, one of Exército Português:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to Exército Português getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Bruno Soveral hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Exército Português's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Ramires came free, but Laurențiu Gaciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Andarilhos's goalkeeper Jon Oblak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel Carvalhais. Trifon Katsoulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andarilhos made a substitution. Andrzej Zawaski replaced Trifon Katsoulis. Laurențiu Gaciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Zawaski in the 83rd minute of the match. Jon Oblak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Carvalhais in the 85th minute of the match. After 86 minutes, Andrzej Zawaski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Andarilhos and the Exército Português players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th match minute, Andarilhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrzej Zawaski to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Exército Português's Gustavo Carrasqueira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jon Oblak. Jon Oblak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. 95 minutes into the game, Armando Meireles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Exército Português's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Andarilhos the free kick. Jarbas Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Gustavo Carrasqueira struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Jon Oblak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Exército Português. The Andarilhos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Exército Português's performance. The match ended with a win for Exército Português.
