Bacardi Black Bats's Artur Brudzisz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Bacardi Black Bats from getting a goal against them. Horaţiu Bacalbașa scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leal Simões, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bacardi Black Bats's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cássio Calçada was slow to take the kick. During this time KINGS FC's players had a chance to rest. Horaţiu Bacalbașa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leal Simões having to interfere. Artur Brudzisz made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Zoltán Tálas sent off a good shot on target. Horaţiu Bacalbașa took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leal Simões. Leal Simões dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Otto Sosa hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute Wojciech Grunwalski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leal Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Valadão in the 34th minute of play forced Bacardi Black Bats's goalkeeper Artur Brudzisz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the KINGS FC defense, Horaţiu Bacalbașa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leal Simões. The KINGS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leal Simões should have stopped the shot. Artur Brudzisz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Calçada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leal Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horaţiu Bacalbașa in the 40th minute of the match. Bacardi Black Bats's Wojciech Grunwalski suffered a concussion after 41 minutes and had to leave the field. 41 minutes into the game, Paulo Valadão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KINGS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bacardi Black Bats the free kick. In the 42nd minute, Paulo Valadão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artur Brudzisz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jānis Blūms in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Artur Brudzisz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jānis Blūms in the 54th minute of the match. Bacardi Black Bats's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hermenegildo Rebelo in the 57th minute. Horaţiu Bacalbașa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Leal Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zoltán Tálas in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Brudzisz saved Bacardi Black Bats from getting behind. Bacardi Black Bats's Sérgio Viegas was substituted for Yao Liang Ming. KINGS FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cássio Calçada in the 67th minute. After taking down the ball on KINGS FC's corner Cássio Calçada fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Artur Brudzisz quite easily take care of the ball. In the 70th minute Cássio Calçada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Brudzisz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of KINGS FC booed when Bacardi Black Bats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Viegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Bacardi Black Bats's goal looked a bit too open when Zoltán Tálas came free, but Artur Brudzisz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 minutes Bacardi Black Bats's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cássio Calçada who took care of the corner kick. The Bacardi Black Bats supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bacardi Black Bats would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
