Laçın Cumayev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luís Ceresso in the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute of the match Pinhote FC got a corner. SC Braga's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Loco Martin ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 36th minute of the match, Benjamin de Lara tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joacim First saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Joacim First stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stig-Åke Mattsson's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 44th match minute, Pinhote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guo Ming to maneuver through the defense. When Sílvio Luís Ceresso fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pinhote FC's protests and gave Sílvio Luís Ceresso a yellow card for diving instead. Sílvio Luís Ceresso hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When SC Braga's Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Joacim First showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 53rd minute of the match. Joacim First made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin de Lara in the 57th minute of play. If Benjamin de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin de Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joacim First took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Åke Mattsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 minutes Pinhote FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lu Xun Lei who took care of the corner kick. SC Braga's Antonio Cieri was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joacim First in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Joacim First didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamin de Lara went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. SC Braga made a substitution. André Jordão replaced Benjamin de Lara. SC Braga's Quintino Carvalhais was substituted for Antonio Cieri. After a rather tough play, SC Braga's Pipis Dilberis got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 79th minute, André Jordão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Braga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Guo Mings short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Laçın Cumayev to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. SC Braga's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
