The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Armindo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Jordão in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 7th minute of play forced VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save VB-Team from getting a goal against them. Shao Kun Yuan hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Antonio Cieri could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Armindo Salgado however easily saved by the left post. 14 minutes into the game, VB-Team's Luís Caeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laçın Cumayev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Joaquim de Barros took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laçın Cumayev. Laçın Cumayev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim de Barros in the 20th minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Laçın Cumayev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laçın Cumayev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Caeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Stig-Åke Mattsson struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Armindo Salgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Braga. Stig-Åke Mattsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Armindo Salgado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Valdomiro Lira got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-2. 32 minutes into the match. If Stig-Åke Mattsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Caeiro came free, but Laçın Cumayev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Caeiro in the 42nd minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Laçın Cumayev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Qiu Sheng Bang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, VB-Team's Armindo Salgado got control of the ball when Lu Xun Lei tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquim de Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goal looked a bit too open when Shao Kun Yuan came free, but Laçın Cumayev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laçın Cumayev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Caeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Cieri in the 55th minute of play. Laçın Cumayev was a little too slow when Gervásio Severiano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-3. Laçın Cumayev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Caeiro in the 61st minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Álvaro Rezende got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Laçın Cumayev quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Armindo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 65th minute of play. Laçın Cumayev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Caeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 76 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goalkeeper Laçın Cumayev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquim de Barros. In the 84th minute, VB-Team's Shao Kun Yuan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. SC Braga made a substitution. Geraldo Lucas replaced André Jordão. Laçın Cumayev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Caeiro went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Laçın Cumayev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Caeiro in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Traian Hăvârneanu in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Laçın Cumayev, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Traian Hăvârneanu had several of the SC Braga's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 96 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-6 score and a disappointed Laçın Cumayev as he didn't even see the shot coming. VB-Team played a much better game than SC Braga and deserved their victory. The SC Braga players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
